Sometimes that’s exactly what you need: some time out just for yourself. No compromises, no coordinating, no waiting. Just you, the mountains and a place that feels right straight away. The cōmodo in Bad Gastein is perfect for people who travel alone but want as much company as they fancy.

Your retreat. Your rules.

At the cōmodo, taking a holiday on your own doesn’t mean having to explain yourself. The atmosphere at the cōmodo is open, relaxed and uncomplicated. All public areas can, of course, be used by guests travelling alone without feeling out of place.

In the lobby, at the bar, in the garden or during yoga and wellbeing sessions, casual encounters happen naturally if you’re open to them. If you’d rather enjoy your time out entirely on your own, there’s just as much space for that. You decide how much solitude or socialising feels right for you at any given moment.

Spa & Retreats

Relaxation just for you

Yoga, wellbeing and retreat programmes take place regularly at the cōmodo and are particularly well suited to solo travellers. It’s easy to take part, gain new inspiration and – if you like – meet people who share similar interests. In addition, individual spa treatments can be booked independently of the programme of events.

We always provide solo travellers with their own table. No one is automatically seated at a communal table. Depending on your mood, you can enjoy your three-course dinner in the restaurant or choose a relaxed spot at the bar. Both options are equally welcome.
