Good Food & Life Retreat
What we eat should nourish us, taste good, and help us get through our day. It’s actually quite simple. And yet, countless rules, trends, and conflicting recommendations have sprung up around the topic of food.
At the retreat led by Anya from Tegernsee Kitchen and Dr. Gesche Brannolte-Raab, they want to take a step back together: What truly does us good? What does our body need? And how can we naturally integrate good food into our lives?
With in-depth knowledge, good food, and time to take a fresh look at things in peace.
Their approach
They combine good food with sound medical knowledge—and with real life. After all, health doesn’t come from perfection or the latest dietary rule, but from what we do every day. They aim to make connections clear, provide guidance, and work together to discover what truly benefits us.
Your Hosts
Two perspectives on an issue that affects us all.
You may know Anya as Tegernsee Kitchen. She originally earned degrees in food technology engineering and economics—but after a few detours, she found her way back to food, though now from a completely different perspective. For years now, Anya has been exploring how good food works in real life: seasonal, enjoyable, uncomplicated, and free from dietary dogma. As a food writer and founder of Tegernsee Kitchen, she wants to show that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated—and, above all, that it can be a joy.
Gesche is a passionate physician and firmly believes that health doesn’t begin only when illness sets in. As a specialist in internal medicine with an additional focus on integrative medicine, she has spent many years exploring what keeps our bodies healthy—and what we can do to contribute to that. For her, nutrition plays a central role in this. Not as a rigid set of rules, but as something that must fit our bodies, our daily routines, and our lives. She combines traditional medicine with nutritional medicine, prevention, and a holistic view of the human person. It’s important to Gesche to make medical knowledge accessible—so that we can better understand our bodies and make good decisions for ourselves.

What to Expect
Good Food & Life combines medical knowledge with good food and real life.
You’ll learn what nutrition actually does for your body, which blood test results are important, and what it takes to eat well and maintain a balanced diet in your everyday life. We’ll take a look at your personal eating habits, cook together, and develop simple strategies that will work even after the retreat.
In between: time for connection, nature, and tranquility—yoga, walks, the sauna, a massage, or a radon bath in Bad Gastein.
Three days that combine knowledge, enjoyment, and time for yourself.
